Join us and experience some of the most spectacular alpine trail running within close proximity of Melbourne.
The Mount Buller Skyrun offers four unique runs:
- 5 km short course nature trail to the summit of Mt Buller offering stunning views of the Crosscut, Mt Howitt, Mt Magdala, Hells Window and The Bluff
- 22 km introductory trail run from Mount Buller to Mount Stirling and back
- 36 km mid distance course from Mount Buller to Mount Stirling and then a quad busting descent to the Delatite River before a gut wrenching 1200 m climb to the summit of Mount Buller.
- 45 km ultra course which takes in Mount Stirling, Craigs Hut, great views over the Crosscut Saw and the Bluff, a scenic jog along the banks of the Delatite River and a final crushing climb to the summit of Mount Buller itself before an exhilarating 2 km descent to the finish line.
All up an exhilarating day trip from Melbourne.

Pre run Briefing: A pre run briefing will be conducted in the Village Square on the Sunday morning at 06:50 A.M. (36/45 km), 08:50 A.M. (22 km), 09:50 A.M. (5 km). This is a mandatory briefing, no briefing = no start.
Cut offs: 45 km
- 1:00 P.M. at Mirimbah Park—runners who do not make the Mirimbah cut off will be pulled from the run.
- 3:00 P.M. at Northside Express—runners who do not make the Northside Express cut off will be directed to the finish line without summiting Mt Buller.

Experience: Runners attempting any of the longer courses must have experience in trail running and have a high degree of fitness. These are tough courses and should not be undertaken without sufficient training.
Navigation: Whilst this is a marked course, participants are expected to have basic map reading skills and determine which way they are going at junctions.

Entry Fees: 36/45 km $80 per person, 22 km $70 per person. Late entry of $95 per person applies for all entries received after TBA.
Age Limit: The minimum age for an entrant is 5 years old unless agreed with the Race Director in advance.
