Darby River Run Entry

Entry Fee—Inclusions and Conditions

Entry fee includes GST but excludes online registration booking fee of $1 plus 6.76% charged at the time of purchase. All prices are per person.

Online entries close:  30 minutes prior to start of each distance.

Cost Inclusions

All entrants will receive:

1. Race bib/number
2. Public liability insurance cover

Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation/Refunds

   Individuals cancelling up to 4 weeks from the start date will receive a full refund less $20 AUD per entry and $10 AUD child.

   Cancellations within 4 weeks of the start date with an accompanying doctor's certificate receive $10 AUD back. If no certificate is provided, then no refund will be provided.

   Cancellations within 14 days of the race will receive no refund.

2. Cancellation/Termination by Running Wild

   Running Wild may terminate the contract either before or after the event starts, subject to the following conditions:

   1. Adverse weather conditions which threaten the safety of participants or on the advice of Parks Victoria or authorised government emergency services personnel.
   2. Breach of rules and/or regulations and instructions by the participant that he/she was informed about prior or during the event.
   3. Failure by participant to observe instructions by the event management, marshals and/or sweeps.
   4. If the participant disturbs materially the fulfilment of the contract in any other way or his/her behaviour is not in conformity with the contract in such a way that an immediate termination of the contract becomes justified.

3. Cancellation of the Event/No Show

   If the event is cancelled because of circumstances of force majeure, the participant will not be entitled to any reimbursement of the entry fee and compensation of other losses, such as travelling or accommodation expenses. All claims will be forfeited for no shows.

4. Services Not Utilised

   If the participant gives up during the event due to illness, injury or any other reason not attributed to the organiser, does not take part in individual stages or utilise services, the participant shall not be entitled to any proportional refunding of the entry fee concerned.

5. Acceptance of registration

   The event organisers reserve the right to accept or reject any application to participate in the event.

   The organisers decision will be final.
