Event Information

Enjoy running along well benched single track and striding up gentle hills overlooking the Southern Ocean with stunning beach and coastal views. This is definitely a run for the beginner trail runner, the road runner that is jaded and wants to get out there for great scenery and great running or those just wanting to be re-invigorated by the great outdoors, as well as the experienced trail runner just wanting a great run.

Starting at the Darby River car park this delightful run takes in some picturesque coastline and deserted beaches on an out and back course.

Water and First Aid will be available at the start/finish and at Darby Saddle. Runners are responsible for their own safety and assume full liability for their participation.

Weather conditions could be cold and windy or warm and sunny. All runners should be prepared with water and clothing suitable for the conditions on the day.

Withdrawals: Runners withdrawing during the event must notify the event staff.

Medical Evacuation: Participants are encouraged to join Ambulance Victoria—evacuation is at participants' cost https://membership.ambulance.vic.gov.au/ ph 1800 648 484

Track Etiquette: Participants are asked to be considerate of and give way to walkers and other track users.

Travel: Driving time from Melbourne to Darby River is approximately 3 hours.
